So excited to have found this place! I can't have gluten and there's a shortage of restaurants locally that understand, and focus on, gluten free food.
The meals were delicious BUT what I really appreciated was one of the owners coming over to check in and introduce herself. It was a nice, extra touch that's made us lifelong fans.
The menu is very clear on what is and isn't gluten-free. We were also told that the chef/co-owner has enough experience with gf foods to tweak anything on the menu if needed.
Whether you have sensitivities, or just want a darn good breakfast, I highly recommend this hidden gem! -

I'd give this place 10 stars if I could! I had the Chicken Milanese, and when it arrived I realized that it was breaded. The server promptly took it away, and returned with a grilled version. J had a great Cuban inspired steak sandwich. There are no pictures of the food because it was so good that we ate too fast. We closed the meal with a flourless chocolate cake and their signature dessert. No one left hungry. The sweet tea is the best in SC. Stop in when you have time to relax and enjoy your lunch.

I am so bummed to be giving this place a 2 because I was looking forward to having another great breakfast/ lunch option.
Pork Belly burnt ends Omelet- Unfortunately, the eggs were overdone and it lacked flavor. The burnt ends just seemed to be dried pulled pork. The hashbrowns had no crispness to them and also lacked flavor. The portion was small for what it was. I would not mind this portion if the quality was better.
jalapeno, bacon, country sausage hash bowl- I did not expect "hash bowl" to mean tater tots. Though the tater tots did make me nostalgic for middle school lunch, it was not what I was hoping for. The dish was mainly consisting of tater tots, with the country gravy on top, another overcooked egg, and two strips of bacon thrown on top. The bacon was overdone so you could not get the flavor of the meat (and I love crispy bacon). Great concept for a dish but lacking in flavor and poorly executed.
Overall, both dishes needed something fresh and acidic to bring some brightness to them. I think both dishes utilized fat on fat to bring that flavor and that is just not my preference.
I really want this restaurant to do well so I hope they make some positive changes. -

Brand new in the old Farmers Table spot, The Eatery is better than Farmers Table, which lost some of its mojo when it moved into town.
This was our second time here for lunch (they also serve breakfast). Loved it the first time. Even better the second time.
The menu is posted so I'll just say they have a good selection of unique salads, sandwiches, tacos, and other goodies carried over from their very successful food truck operation.
Inside it's nice and bright with lots of windows. Service is prompt ( you can always tell a well-run restaurant when the owners (as here) are totally hands on).
The iced tea is very good and served in a glass (yea!)
There is no doubt in my mind that The Eatery will be even more successful than the Farmers Table was in this location. I say that because you can tell when there is a proper chef making the food. Sophia kept repeating out loud "somebody knows how to cook here". Indeed, they do. -

Oh boy. Where do I start...when we were served our drinks, 3 out of the 4 glasses had lipstick on the rim. Then 40 minutes after ordering the waiter came back to our table to confirm our order. Needless to say it wasn't a good start to the meal.
When we finally did get our food, the grilled cheese smelled and tasted like a dirty pan. The avocado on the avocado toast was too ripe and turning brown. The skillet was good.
The table next to us sent their food back because they served a raw beef hamburger. She didn't want to chance it and declined to even have them recook it, she just ate fries.
We will not be back here and we wouldn't recommend to anyone.
